Garrett is the Graduate Assistant for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement Programs. His work includes fall and winter volunteer fairs, planning the annual Leadership Conference, and overseeing the Leadership Conference Planning Committee and Leadership Awards Committee.

Garrett was born and raised in Little Falls, Minnesota. He graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a Bachelor’s degree in English-Writing and Communication Studies and a minor in Business. While at Concordia, he served as a Resident Assistant, an Orientation Leader, and Lead Commissioner of Campus Entertainment Commission, as well as working with Homecoming and Conferences and Events teams.

Garrett has an overwhelming passion for ice cream and watching/quoting F.R.I.E.N.D.S. In his free time, you can usually find him watching romantic comedies or lounging by the pool. After graduating with his M.S. in College Student Affairs, he would love to work with campus programming in any capacity possible. While he loves South Florida, Garrett considers himself a devout Midwesterner at heart.
