Sharks are dominant. Strong, intelligent, fast and adaptable. They always prevail.

At Nova Southeastern University, we create sharks. We give students the tools they need to become confident, capable and caring professionals who outsmart, outperform and outlast their competition. We call it the NSU Edge.

Students don’t just get an education at NSU – they prepare for real careers, real contributions and real life. You may enter looking to take on the world, but you emerge prepared to dominate your future.

Prepare to dominate with the NSU Edge.

At Nova Southeastern University, we recognize the challenges students, families and educators have experienced and continue to face due to hurricanes and flooding. As families and schools are working toward recovery, we want to support students and educators during the admission application process who have been affected by these disasters.

First, NSU will be flexible on application priority dates should you need additional time to complete and submit your application for admission and all supporting documents, such as transcripts and test scores. You may receive priority date reminders from us, but please know that we will work with you on an individual basis to accommodate your situation.

Second, NSU will not require the guidance counselor recommendation or any other letter of recommendation, should it be difficult for an affected student to obtain it. Students should feel free to submit recommendations, but if unable to do so, the Admission Committee will proceed with application review and the student will receive equitable consideration.

Third, if paying the application fee poses a significant financial hardship, an affected student may contact the NSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions to request a fee waiver.

Admission to Nova Southeastern University will not be affected should a student receive any discipline or penalties related to meaningful and peaceful participation in a protest such as the recent National School Walkout Day.  All applicants are required to disclose discipline issues. Admitted students are also expected to disclose discipline issues to the University even if the incident took place after being offered admission.
