NSU ALERT

DESCRIPTION:

As Hurricane Idalia makes its way from Florida toward the Atlantic Ocean, NSU officials have visited and surveyed the regional campus locations that were closed due to its projected path. Thankfully, our facilities escaped the brunt of the storm and experienced very little damage. As such, NSU will be REOPENING its Tampa Bay, Orlando and Fort Myers regional campuses Thurs., August 31. All regularly scheduled classes and events will take place for students, faculty, and staff as usual. Any student, faculty or staff who experienced damage due to the hurricane should contact their program director or supervisor to determine next steps. Because the storm’s impacts will take longer to dissipate in the Jacksonville area, NSU’s Jacksonville Regional Campus REMAINS CLOSED. All classes and extracurricular activities remain canceled. Essential employees who have been pre-identified should contact their supervisor for direction. NSU officials will visit the campus Thurs., Aug. 31 to determine when it can reopen, and that information will be shared as soon as possible. Please continue to monitor nova.edu/hurricane for the latest information.
