Student Leadership and Civic Engagement

The Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement’s Core Covenant articulates the central values of our team which drives our expectations for action and interaction with our students and staff. Therefore, we commit to one another to aspire to the following:

We uphold the mission and values of Nova Southeastern University, the Division of Student Affairs & the College of Undergraduate Studies, and the Office of Student Leadership & Civic Engagement.

We expect our student leaders and professional staff to have an understanding of their  and work to support the initiatives of others within the office and throughout Division of Student Affairs & the College of Undergraduate Studies, and the wider university.

Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, also known as “SLCE” is located on the 2nd floor of the Rosenthal Student Center.

  • Shark and Service (SAS) Trips  
  • Wide-range of community affiliates for service projects

With a wide range of opportunities to grow as a leader and become engaged in the campus community, as well as in the local Fort Lauderdale region, and internationally, chances are there is an opportunity to begin your journey, and if there is something you have an interest in that is not already here, let’s make it happen!
