The Benefits Plan Year at NSU begins on April 1 and ends on March 31 the following year, deductible and out-of-pocket limits are reset annually on April 1.
New elections or election changes for medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, optional life insurance, Aflac, and LegalShield are made through the ICUBA Enrollment Portal at http://icubabenefits.org.
New employees must make elections or waive coverage within 30 days of their date of hire. Current employees experiencing a qualifying status change (life event) must request changes within 30 days of the event and upload documentation to their Employee File to support the change in status.
Dependent verification is required for dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners when being added to employee benefits through NSU/ICUBA.
