Welcome to Handshake, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Career Development Offices fast and powerful recruiting platform for NSU students, alumni and employers to locate and market vacant positions. Handshake uses cutting edge technology to help you more easily connect with employers and source jobs and internships, event information and find out information about on-campus recruitment opportunities.

Join the other 180,000 organizations so far that are using Handshake as a recruitment tool, to identify top talent for open positions and manage on-campus recruitment activities.

Currently registered NSU students and alumni have access to Handshake.

Why should I use Handshake?

Handshake users have the ability to explore and find amazing job and internship opportunities. The platform changes to your needs, pushing out customized information that is relevant and timely based on your career interests, experiences and major. Handshake is also the way to find out what Career Development has to offer, find resources and RSVP for programs and events.

How do I access Handshake?

For NSU students, go to https://nova.joinhandshake.com/login, click on the blue “Nova Southeastern University Login” button and use your NSU user name and password.

For NSU alumni, go to https://nova.joinhandshake.com/login, click on the “Sign up for an Account” link below the yellow Handshake logo, select “Student/Alumni” and then select the light blue “Register a New Account” button. If you encounter any difficulties please call (954) 262-7201 or email career@nova.edu.

Why hasn’t my employer account at Nova Southeastern University Career Development office been approved?

Due to the high amount interest it typically takes 2-4 business days to process pending employer approval requests. If your request is not complete in this timeframe or your request is urgent please contact our office at (954) 262-7201 or career@nova.edu.

Where on Handshake do I go to register for Career Expo?

In Handshake, click “Fairs” on the left menu and then select "Show Registered Only." To find upcoming NSU Fairs.  We recommend you click “Follow Career Fair” on Fairs You’ve Registered For to receive updates and easily find them in the future.
