Fall 2018 Transfer

  • Regular Admission Priority Deadline: April 1, 2018

It is said that college is a place for self-discovery.  And, that’s fine for most colleges.  But, NSU is more than a place for students to find themselves.  Because so many of our students know where they are headed, this is a place where they unleash their potential.  This is a place where they become leaders.  There is no question about a clear path to success.  The school that got its start with 17 students knows a little something about ambition.  We’re grounded in the real world with things like internships, discoveries, research, values, answers, and clarity.

When you play to your strengths, you only get stronger.

At Nova Southeastern University, we recognize the challenges students, families, and educators have experienced and continue to face due to hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, and earthquakes. As families and schools are working towards recovery, we want to support students and educators during the admission application process who have been affected by these disasters.

First, NSU will extend the application priority date to April 1, 2018 for students who have been affected. This priority date extension should allow students to gather and submit supporting documents such as transcripts and test scores.

Second, NSU will not require the guidance counselor or any other letter of recommendation should it be difficult for an affected student to obtain it. Students should feel free to submit recommendations, but if unable to do so, the Admission Committee will proceed with application review and the student will not be at any disadvantage.

Third, if paying the application fee poses a significant financial hardship, an affected student may contact the NSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions to request a fee waiver.
