Razor's Edge Shark Talent Program Requirements

A Major or Minor in Performing and Visual Arts

Shark Talent Scholars Program participants must declare a major or minor in a PVA discipline and meet all requirements to stay in good standing with the program. Students applying for a major are preferred. Majors and minors are available in Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre.

Curricular and Co-Curricular Requirements

Year 1

Curricular
Semester 2: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)
Major or Minor in a PVA discipline declared.

Year 2

Curricular
Semester 1: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)
Semester 2: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)

Year 3

Curricular
Semester 1: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)
Semester 2: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)

Year 4

Curricular
Semester 1: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)
Semester 2: PVA Major or Minor Specific Course (1–3 credits)


Students who leave or are dismissed from the program will lose their scholarship. All financial assistance received as part of the Razor’s Edge Shark Talent Scholars program will cease after the fourth year of enrollment. Attendance at all rehearsals, meetings, and scheduled events is required.
