Taking Control of Your NSU Student Account

As you tackle academic challenges this semester, time flies. But remember, you won't be able to register for the next semester if there's a balance on your NSU account. Here are some tips to manage your NSU student account:

• Regularly check SharkLink's "My Account" page.
• Look for any holds that might block registration.
• Review your finances to ensure all aid requirements are met for timely disbursements.

If you need help with outstanding balances:

• Enroll in an NSU Payment Plan.
• Explore student employment options.
• Apply for a Federal Direct PLUS Loan if eligible.  

Navigating Refunds

Students may qualify for refunds of financial aid, loan credits, or overpayments on their student account. Refunds can also stem from various account transactions, including adjustments to financial aid, tuition, fees, and withdrawing from classes. Choose between convenient direct deposit or traditional paper checks for receiving your refunds.

The Student Health Insurance Department, which is part of the Office of the University Bursar, oversees all aspects related to student health insurance requirements at NSU. Our dedicated team assists with:
