Nova Southeastern University’s Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review and select the benefits that support your health, well-being, and financial security.

During this period, employees may review current elections, update eligible dependents and beneficiaries, and choose coverage for all benefits, including medical, dental, vision, gap, spending accounts, and more.

Elections made during Open Enrollment take effect on April 1, 2026. Be sure to complete your elections during open enrollment, as missed deadlines cannot be accommodated and late enrollments will not be accepted. Changes outside of this window are only permitted within 30 days of a qualifying life event.

  • Out-of-pocket maximus for both plans slightly increased.
  • Contribution limits for Healthcare FSA increased from $3,300 to $3,400.
  • Contribution limits for Dependent Care FSA increased from $5,000 to $7,500.
  • Facilities and providers under Memorial Health System and Broward Health Medical Center will continue to be out-of-network until further notice. If you currently use any providers under the Memorial Health System, please review BCBS’s list of alternative providers.

  • Deductible, co-insurance, and copays did not change.
  • HRA Employer contributions did not change.
  • Dental, vision, gap insurance, aflac accident/critical illness/hospital supplemental coverage, pet insurance and legal shield/Identity theft protection did not increase their rates for 2026.

Yes, CHUBB – Lifetime Benefit Term. It provides financial protection by paying a cash benefit to your beneficiaries upon death. Benefits may also be available for qualified long-term care expenses and may include a restoration of the death benefit, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Note: This benefit is a direct-bill policy, meaning premiums are paid directly to CHUBB rather than through payroll deductions.
