(954) 262-7258 mm4235@nova.edu

Maggie joined the Office of Career Development in July 2016, as a Career Advisor. She recently graduated from NSU with her Master’s in College Student Affairs. Maggie was born and raised in Saratoga Springs, NY, home to the oldest Thoroughbred horse racetrack in the country. Saratoga is located in the southernmost foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, which is why Maggie loves being outdoors.

She graduated from Binghamton University in 2015, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and minors in education and global studies. At Binghamton, she served as Vice President of the Society for Human Resource Management, studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and did several management and human resources internships.

Maggie is passionate about education and student success. She volunteered in low-income, high-needs school districts for six years and taught before becoming a career advisor. She is excited to continue to help students reach their full potential through finding experiential learning opportunities that are engaging and help students to achieve their goals!

Maggie has been coming to Fort Lauderdale with her family since she was a child. Her favorite part about South Florida is the warm climate and beaches. You can find Maggie rooting on the Panthers at the BB&T Center, paddle boarding on the intercostal or shopping at T.J. Maxx!
