Academic Transcript Requests

Students wishing to be awarded a degree from Nova Southeastern University must complete a degree application in order to initiate the conferral process.
Diplomas and Certificates
All degrees are conferred on the last day of the month in which the advisor approves the degree application. If there are no holds, diplomas and certificates are mailed directly from the Office of the University Registrar.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) affords students and alumni certain rights with respect to their education records.
A student's academic record reflects the gender with which the student identified him- or herself at the time of university application. Students who subsequently wish to change their gender designation must provide a certified copy of a court order showing their change of gender.
Nova Southeastern University does not mail grades to students. Once a grade is posted, an email is sent to the student’s NSU email account with instruction on how to view grades in SharkLink.
