NSU will be migrating to Teams from Skype for Business in the summer of 2021. Microsoft teams will replace not only Skype for Business' chat, presence and meeting functionality but also be deployed for enterprise voice calling and meetings.
You can start using Microsoft Teams today for chat, document sharing and meetings. Skype for Business will be replaced and improved with Microsoft Teams. Please watch the trainings, videos and demos to familiarize yourself.
If you are a Skype for Business voice user (meaning your NSU phone extension routes through Skype for Business), you will be contacted by NSU OIIT teams informing you of migration dates.
Once your NSU phone is converted to Teams, your Voice messages will be delivered to Outlook and it is optional to place a “9” before making an external call.
