Office 365 is a cloud-based suite of productivity tools from Microsoft that helps you collaborate with students and coworkers. Whether working from campus, home or on the go, Office 365 is available wherever you are and on virtually any device.

Office 365 Groups is a service developed with collaboration in mind. It works with the Office 365 tools you use already so you can collaborate with your teammates when writing documents, creating spreadsheets, working on project plans, scheduling meetings, or sending email. Groups feature:

  • Shared Calendar – For scheduling events related to the group

  • SharePoint Document Library – A central place for the group to store and share files

  • Shared OneNote Notebook – For gathering ideas, research, and information

  • SharePoint Team Site – A central repository for information, links and content relating to your group

  • Planner – For assigning and managing project tasks among your group members

Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress.
Easily create team sites and portals to discover, share, and collaborate on content with colleagues inside and outside your organization from any device.

Microsoft Forms is a new part of Office 365 Education that allows teachers and students to quickly and easily create custom quizzes, surveys, questionnaires, registrations and more. When you create a quiz or form, you can invite others to respond to it using any web browser, even on mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading.

Power BI is a suite of business analytics tools to analyze data and share insights.
Sway makes it quick and easy to create and share polished, interactive reports, presentations, personal stories, and more.
Teams is a new chat-based workspace in Office 365. Microsoft Teams is an entirely new experience that brings together people, conversations and content—along with the tools that teams need—so they can easily collaborate to achieve more.
