Student Mail

Receiving Mail & Packages

Mail Services typically receives one to two deliveries of USPS, FedEx, UPS and DHL mail/packages daily.  Amazon delivers multiple times per day.  All incoming mail, whether standard, First-Class, or small parcels, is typically processed within 24 hours- barring extreme volumes.  Please note, mail is not processed on weekends and University holidays.

Students will receive an e-mail notification to their NSU e-mail address when mail is ready for pick-up at the Packaged Locker System.  The e-mail notification received will list the sender as USPS LETTER MAIL.

Mailboxes and Mailbox keys are not issued with the Packaged Locker System.  The students e-mail notification will contain a one-time use code that is needed to retrieve your mail.

At Mako, The Commons, and Rolling Hills residence halls, we use a state of the art smart locker system to deliver both packages and student mail.  The package locker system is an easy and convenient way to pick up your mail and packages, anytime, 24/7!

Mail and packages are delivered and loaded into lockers multiple times a day. When an item is ready for pick-up, you will receive an e-mail to your NSU e-mail address. Please do not delete this email, as it contains one-time use codes that you will need to retrieve your items.

Once you have the email notification and codes, please proceed to the package lockers and follow the prompts on the touchscreen console. The locker will automatically pop open, and you can retrieve your mail and/or packages. Please note that if a student receives multiple packages, mail services aims to load one locker with all packages received.  Please ensure you check for multiple packages when picking up.  Please also remember to close the locker door once you've collected your items.

All items must be picked up within 5 business days of delivery. Please contact mailservices@nova.edu for extensions.
