If you follow these steps you will be ready to join us at Nova Southeastern University! Do you have any questions? Please contact the Office of International Affairs at intl@nova.edu.
Step 1: Sign up for and attend an online New Student Information Session. This will prepare you for Step 2.
Step 2: You may also review our web page by going to: https://www.nova.edu/ugadvising/new-student.html. Please take a moment to review all materials on the New Student Info page.
Step 3: Contact academic advising at (954) 262-7990 or ugadvising@nova.edu to schedule an academic advising appointment, either in-person, by phone, or by Skype.
Note: Many courses fill quickly so students should begin this process as soon as possible after confirming their NSU attendance.
All students must complete the Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) in order to register for classes. The SEA requires students to agree with NSU standards and policies.
International Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming international undergraduate students attending classes on the main/Fort Lauderdale campus. Students attending one of the regional campuses are also invited to attend.
Please visit the International Student Orientation page for additional information.
All F-1 students on initial NSU I-20s must attend an F-1 International Student Check-In in order to have their SEVIS records registered and activated. Students who fail to attend a check-in will have their SEVIS record and immigration status terminated. This is a U.S. immigration requirement and no exceptions will be made.
Please visit the F-1 International Student Check-In page for additional information.
