Volunteer Recruitment

Twice a year, the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement collaborates with the Center for Academic & Professional Success (CAPS), Office of Undergraduate Research, and NSU Colleges to host Recruit a Shark Virtual Career Expo (Recruit a Shark Week). This event is designed to be a one stop shop experience for students to network for internship, volunteer or research opportunities and/or full-time, part-time career positions. Each day of the week will feature an industry specific virtual “Career Fair” that represents our NSU Colleges.

Save the Date for our Winter 2021 event starting: Monday, March 22nd through Thursday, March 25th.

Community affiliates have a chance to interact with students and to share opportunities to get engaged in the local area and make a difference. Students can meet representatives from local organizations related to their field of study, passion areas, or past work experience.

"Recruit a Shark Day" is offered once per semester, typically in September and March. If you are a local community organization and have interest in participating in one of our events, please contact the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement for more information.  Contact slce@nova.edu or 954-262-7195.

In response to COVID-19, this event has moved to a virtual format. Please find below all of the information you'll need to plan for the coming semester's event!
