How to Self-Enroll in Blackboard Training Courses for Faculty

There are faculty training courses that will allow you to self-enroll, including the Faculty Online Certification course and the GoTo Training course.

Step 1:

To self-enroll in a course begin by logging into Blackboard at: with your username (first part of your email without the and password.


Step 2:

Click on the Courses tab next to My Institution.


Step 3:

When in the course tab, locate the Course Search on the upper left side of the page.


Step 4:

Enter the words, faculty online certification, in the search bar and click Go.


Step 5:

Once searched, locate the course Training_Faculty-Online-Certification_V2 (Course ID).


Step 6:

Hover over Training Faculty-Online-Certification-V2 to reveal the Options Menu drop down. Once clicked, you will see the option to Enroll. Click on Enroll to enter the Self Enrollment Page.


Step 7:

Press the Submit Button to enroll yourself in the course.


Step 8:

You will be shown an "Action Successful" page to confirm you are enrolled.


Step 9:

Once enrolled, the course is added to your My Courses list.
