The Learning and Educational Center (LEC) Advisory Council comprises faculty, faculty development professionals, educational technologists, instructional designers, and affiliate members from support services like the Office of Innovation and Information Technology (OIIT) and the Alvin Sherman Library. This council fosters ownership among faculty and staff while advising the LEC on strategic planning through the following:
- Supporting academic units in their goals toward preeminence.
- Ensuring representation and collaboration with all NSU colleges and programs.
- Offering perspective and insight into the development needs of NSU faculty.
- Serving as a communication bridge into and out of the LEC.
- Supporting LEC as a model that is inclusive, collaborative, and proactive in meeting NSU's teaching and learning needs.
