Gap insurance is not available for employees in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the American territories.
Gap insurance can help offset medical expenses you may incur before you meet your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum for the new plan year.
In order to enroll in Gap insurance during Open Enrollment, you must be simultaneously covered under an ICUBA medical insurance plan at NSU and have the same tiers as the NSU medical insurance plans - employee only, employee+child(ren), employee+spouse, and family.
Note: the APL coverage amount is PER OCCURRENCE
