SharkLink is NSU's online portal. With a single username and password, students, alumni, faculty and staff members, can easily access many online university applications.
The Bursar's Office is responsible for collecting university tuition and fees, issuing student refunds from financial aid funds, sending invoices and receipts, and distributing student educational tax data.
The Office of the University Bursar is located in the Horvitz Administration Building, 1st floor, on the Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus, 3301 College Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale-Davie, FL 33314.
If you live on campus or your program of study requires you to maintain adequate health insurance, the NSU Student Health Insurance fee will be charged to your student account upon registration for the winter semester. If you already have adequate insurance coverage, you must submit an online waiver application no later than February 1, 2018 in order to opt out of the plan and reverse the charged fee. Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will be closed December 24, 2017, through January 1, 2018, in observance of the holiday season. Therefore, NSU will begin processing student refunds (direct deposit or checks) for the Winter semester beginning January 2, 2018.
To sign up for Direct Deposit, submit a completed Direct Deposit Authorization no later than December 15, 2017. Direct Deposit Authorizations received after this date will become effective for refunds after the Winter 2017 semester.
Important: Refunds can only be processed for students who have an active and current mailing address on file in WebSTAR. You may verify your address and make any necessary updates, by logging into SharkLink, selecting the green WebSTAR tile from the application slider bar, and clicking “Personal Information.”
NSU is required to provide each eligible student with a copy of his or her annual Form 1098-T in January. This form is informational only and serves to alert you that you may be eligible for federal income tax education credits. You may elect to receive this form electronically which is faster and more secure than receipt through the postal mail.

NSU requires all undergraduate students with 0-48 credit hours to live on campus and participate in the university's meal plan unless at least one of the following criteria applies:

If any of the criteria above apply to you and you will not be living on campus, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions so that your record may be updated accordingly.
NSU requires all residential on-campus students to have some form of health insurance. If you currently maintain comparable coverage that is greater or equal to that of NSU’s policy, you must complete the online waiver form.
