Testing Services

Testing Services in the Tutoring and Testing Center (TTC) administers challenge and placement exams for placement out of courses in elementary algebra, college-level mathematics, writing, Spanish, and French. Testing Services also provides faculty make-up exams, proctoring services, and standardized tests and serves as an information resource for many other exams. All exams are by appointment only.

Contact Testing Services for specific dates or appointments. Students must contact their academic advisor before making appointments to take any CLEP, DSST, and NYU Foreign Language Proficiency exam. Contact the Office of Student Disability Services for more information on receiving individualized accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Testing Services at Nova Southeastern University is proud to be a certified test center by the NCTA – National College Testing Association.

General Test Requirements

  • Testing is administered by appointment only. Walk-ins are not allowed.
  • NSU students must be referred to complete an exam with Testing Services.
  • U-PAY Fees Management – Required for all credit-bearing standardized exams, and Non-NSU proctorials.
  • Read the Student Testing Guidelines prior to arrival at the Testing Center
