A college or university campus is an important part of the local community that it serves. As in any neighborhood, it is important that all students, faculty, and staff members realize that they should take every possible precaution to prevent assault and crime against themselves and others.

The administration of Nova Southeastern University recognizes that the University's campuses are part of the community and experience the risks and threats of society as a whole. NSU has established programs and systems involving personnel, procedural methods, and physical means in order to provide as safe and secure an environment on-campus as possible.

Welcome to the Public Safety Department's Feedback or Concerns Submission Portal

The NSU Public Safety Department has established a formal complaint and compliment procedure as it provides valuable assistance in advising the Department of any noteworthy incidents or accomplishments. The Public Safety Department investigates all complaints regarding the service provided by the Department and its members.

We encourage you to share positive experiences or commend the efforts of individuals or teams within the Department. Recognizing excellent service not only boosts morale but also reinforces our commitment to public trust and community partnership.

Many issues can be resolved by contacting the employee’s supervisor. The supervisor will speak with you about your concern and attempt to resolve it. Members of the community who do not wish to resolve their concerns in this manner may complete the compliment/complaint form by clicking on the link below.

All complaints are forwarded to the Director of Public Safety or his designee. All complaints are investigated as expeditiously as possible, and you will be notified (unless you elect to remain anonymous) at the conclusion of the investigation.

It is also the policy of this Department to ensure that the community and department members can report misconduct and provide other information without fear of retaliation.

Please use this form to compliment or make a complaint about individual Public Safety Department employees, vendors, or volunteers. For general compliments or complaints, please use the survey form located on the Public Safety homepage.
