Frequently Ask Questions

SharkPass is a self-service password management system that will allow you to reset your NSU password.

All NSU students and alumni accounts will be transitioned to the SharkPass platform and use SharkPass.

This is a required step as we work towards achieving a single password to access all NSU online services.

You will need to retrieve your initial SharkPass password at http://www.nova.edu/sharkpass, then register at http://pwregister.nova.edu and login with your SharkLink email address and initial SharkPass password. After registering for SharkPass you will then need to reset your password by going to http://pwreset.nova.edu and change your password.

You may get a login error if you are a Health Professions Division (HPD) student. As an HPD student you may have been given access to Citrix applications such as NexGen or Axium. As a result you already have an existing password on SharkPass. The lookup tool will not work for you as you would have already changed that initial password, you will need to use your existing Citrix password. If you have forgotten your password please contact Strategic Support Services at 954-262-0777 or by email at sss@nova.edu.

For any SharkPass questions please contact Strategic Support Services at 954-262-HELP (4357) or by email at help@nova.edu.

After March 24, 2014 you will need to update any mobile device you use to access SharkMail with your new SharkPass password.
