Transferring to NSU

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) allows international students to transfer between institutions of higher education approved by Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

Should you wish to Transfer In to NSU before or after completion of your program of study (or Optional Practical Training), you are required to transfer your SEVIS record electronically by the Designated School Official at your current institution to the Office of International Students and Scholars at Nova Southeastern University, before you may begin your studies at NSU. 

In order to initiate the transfer process and be issued an NSU I-20, the Transfer Authorization Form should be submitted to intl@nova.edu in addition to the I-20 requirements. Verify that you have completed the student section and have the DSO at your current language school, college, or university complete the form before send it to OIA.

On the contrary, if you wish to request your SEVIS record to be Transferred Out from NSU to another U.S. institution, you will need to submit the following documents to intl@nova.edu before your request can be processed:
