An “Academical Village” is described by Thomas Jefferson as a “community of scholars and students living and working closely together, inspired by a campus that promotes the free flow of ideas.” The Academical Village will consist of 2,500,000 square feet of healthcare, premier residential, conference, hospitality, office, and retail space. It is designed as a vibrant, living community and exemplary model of smart growth. This design will provide a sustainable, synergistic environment for area residents, faculty, students and the community to live, learn, shop and play.

This project is estimated to be completed in 2025.

The Cathy J. Husman ALS Center project includes the buildout of 6,120 SF of shell space at the Center for Collaborative Research building on NSU's Main Campus in Davie, FL. This project was funded through a generous donation from Mr. David Husman. 

This project is currently under construction and is estimated to be completed in early 2025. 

The Terry Building Dining Expansion project consists of renovating and expanding the existing Terry dining facility with a new 13,800-square-foot building addition. The new dining facility will seat 774 people and will feature a new Starbucks and Amazon Just Walk Out market.

The project is on schedule to open in Fall 2026.

The NSU Office Building project includes the complete renovation of the former 82,000 sq. ft. Miami Dolphins Training Facility on NSU's Main Campus in Davie, FL.
