All NSU Commencement ceremonies take place on-campus in the Rick Case Arena at the Don Taft University Center (UC).

For the protection of our guests, the following are not permitted inside commencement: wrapped gifts, air horns, balloons, duffle bags, backpacks, backpack-style purses, diaper bags, waist packs, purses larger than 12" x 6" or 12" in size (ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR) alcohol, bottles, food, cans, thermoses, coolers, drugs, chains, fireworks, weapons, noisemakers, laser pointers, chains, spikes, strollers, and any other item deemed dangerous to public safety. No animals, except certified service animals, will be admitted. Anyone entering the Hard Rock Stadium will be subject to a physical search and metal detection.
Smoking is no permitted.
There are no facilities available in the Stadium for storing purses or other personal items candidates may be carrying. Please leave these items with your guests. Neither the University nor the Hard Rock Stadium is responsible for items left unattended. No purses, guests, or food and drink will be allowed in the candidate assembly area.
