Daniela joined the Office of Career Development in July 2018 as a Career Advisor Graduate Assistant and has been working as an Experiential Education and Learning (ExEL) Career Advisor as of February 2020. She received her Master of Science in College Student Affairs here at Nova Southeastern University in May 2020 and is a proud Shark alumnus. Daniela graduated from Florida International University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. As a big proponent for global experiences, she studied abroad in Costa Rica in her Sophomore year to learn more about ecotourism and sustainability.

During her undergraduate career, she also participated in the NASPA Undergraduate Fellowship Program (NUFP) where she was able to complete two Student Affairs internships; one at the University of Colorado, Boulder and another at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Now, she’s happy to be back at home serving students in South Florida.

Through her experience in Academic Advising, Orientation, Student Conduct, and Residence Life, Daniela discovered her true passion in working one-on-one with students to help them develop their strengths and recognize their passions. She strives to connect students with catered opportunities and is especially excited to support students at NSU navigate through college and achieve their goals.

In her spare time, you can find Daniela hosting board game nights, roaming farmers markets, or finding new comedians around the area.
