Undergraduate First Year Orientation

FRESHMAN/FIRST TIME IN COLLEGE STUDENT ORIENTATION:

This program is designed to assist you in making a smooth transition to university life at NSU! Orientation is the foundation of your college experience.

All new undergraduate students at NSU are REQUIRED to attend orientation. 

For this reason, we offer several types of orientation programs to assist with the transition to NSU, whether you are coming from high school, another college, or the workforce.

For the past months, NSU has worked tirelessly to look at every facet of student life and determine how we make fall semester both safe and meaningful. Orientation is a mandatory event for all freshmen and first-time-in-college students under the age of 21 attending Nova Southeastern University. We had an amazing time with you and kicking off the fall semester!

Helpful Tips

  • Register the student and up to 2 parents or guardians attending Orientation via the Registration Link
  • Look for an email sent to your NSU Student Email outlining the schedule for the day and your Check-In Time
  • Dress comfortably
  • Be prepared to attend the event from 7am to 11pm for all informational and social sessions
  • Monitor CDC guidelines and university communication for changes and how to stay safe

Parents and Guests

Nova Southeastern University provides a complete program for Parents and Guests. Please limit the number of guests to 2 persons per student. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus.
