improves and enhances the quality of life for victims of sexual assault and child abuse through effective forensically sensitive interventions, implemented by professionals specializing in the fields of sexual assault and child abuse.
NAMI Broward County
is dedicated to the eradication of the stigma associated with mental illnesses and to the improvement of the quality of life for all individuals affected by these diseases. NAMI Broward County provides free support groups, education classes and seminars, legislative advocacy, and information for people in our community living with mental illness as well as their loved ones.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc
. is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County. We offer 24-hour crisis intervention through our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline and emergency shelter, as well as counseling and support for victims and their children.
