GA Application Process

Applicants must complete the following steps.

Step 1:

Apply for the Master of Science in College Student Affairs Program NSU.

All applicants must complete and possess a bachelor's degree by July 1, 2023 to be considered. All applicants must apply and then further be accepted and enrolled in the Master of Science in College Student Affairs (CSA) program.

Only CSA applicants will be considered for GA positions.

Step 2:

Application will be accepted on a rolling basis. Once candidate has applied to the Master of Science in College Student Affairs program and application has been confirmed, NSU student affairs offices will reach out to candidates.
Our 2023- 2024 school year Priority Deadline is December 9th. We will be hosting in person interviews January TBD.

Note: Positions might become unavailable at any time.

Step 3:

Reach out if you have questions! Our Graduate Assistant Enrollment Management Team is below and are willing to answer questions you may have about the NSU College Student Affairs Program or a Graduate Assistant Position!

Step 5:

Interview over two weeks for GA positions at NSU, fill out your preference form and then sign your MOU contract! 

Step 6:

Reach out to Residential Life and Housing team for information about graduate housing.
