GA Application Process

Applicants must complete the following steps.

Step 1

Apply for the Master of Science in College Student Affairs Program NSU.

All applicants must complete and possess a bachelor's degree by July 1, 2024 to be considered. All applicants must apply and then further be accepted and enrolled in the Master of Science in College Student Affairs (CSA) program. Only CSA applicants will be considered for Graduate Assistant (GA) positions.

Step 2

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Once a candidate has applied to the Master of Science in College Student Affairs program and the application has been confirmed, NSU Student Affairs offices will reach out to the candidates.
Our 2024- 2025 school year Priority Deadline is December 8th. We will be hosting in-person interviews, January TBD.

Step 3

Reach out if you have questions! Our Graduate Assistant Enrollment Management Team is below and are willing to answer questions you may have about the NSU College Student Affairs Program or a Graduate Assistant Position!

Step 4

Step 5

Interview during one of our two GA interview weeks for your selected GA Positions on campus, at NSU. Afterwards, fill out your preference form, receive your assistantship match and sign your MOU contract.
