Alyssa Rothman is the marketing program director for NSU's Division of Public Relations, Marketing, and Creative Services. She works closely with Undergraduate admissions, Student Affairs, and Campus Life. She plans, develops, and executes effective communication campaigns to promote the university. Serving the needs of the university members, she coordinates projects that implement public relations and marketing strategies, tracks budgeting, and supports the members of the team. In addition, she manages the Holocaust Reflection Contest, a community program open to all Florida middle and high school students.
Rothman has been with NSU for more than 25 years. In previous roles, she served as director of the Office of Information Services, Office of Online Programs, and as an academic adviser working with NSU's undergraduate students.
Prior to joining NSU, in 1996, Rothman was a director of privately-owned preschools and a professional clown. Her service to the community includes fundraising for the United Way, American Heart Association, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She holds an M.S. in Computer Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts.
