Alejandro is a storyteller at heart and wordsmith by trade who serves as associate editor and copywriter at Nova Southeastern University. With nearly 20 years of experience in bilingual communication (English and Spanish), content creation, editing, and a rich background in journalism, creative writing, photography, and video production, Alejandro embraces every project with a sharp editorial eye, deep knowledge of the Chicago and AP style guides, and a passion for crafting clear and compelling messages that resonate.
At his current position, he specializes in persuasive, audience-focused copy that speaks to prospective students, advanced-degree candidates, executive leadership, and the general public, navigating between creative expression and editorial precision and always guided by a deep respect for language and clarity.
Whether helping craft a creative piece, writing and/or editing a long-form publication, or shaping the university’s voice for an official communication, Alejandro’s mission is simple: turn information into impact.
Outside of NSU, Alejandro is a husband and father or three. He is also an active musician and the lead guitarist for two South Florida cover bands, a space geek who enjoys a night under the stars, and a car enthusiast—an interest he shares with his oldest.
Alejandro was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where he received his bachelor's in mass communication with a minor in journalism from Santa Maria University (Universidad Santa María) before being relocated to the United States for his work.
