Welcome to Your Device Setup!
Please allow ample time to complete the setup process. Depending on your device and network connection, setup may take an hour or more.
Start Here:
Step 1: Unbox and Power On
- Unpack your device and connect it to a power source using the provided charger.
- Press the power button to turn on the device.
Step 2: Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- Select your network from the list of available connections.
- If you are on campus, select 1NSU.
- Enter your network password and select Connect.
Step 3: Sign In with Your NSU Account
- Enter your NSU email address when prompted.
- Complete the sign-in process using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). You will need the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device to approve the sign-in request.
Step 4: Configure and Sync Your Device
- Allow the device to download and install any required security updates.
- Wait while your NSU applications, settings, and files sync automatically.
- This process may take some time.
Step 5: Verify Access
- Open Outlook and a web browser to confirm you can access NSU resources.
- Restart the device if prompted to complete setup.
- If any applications are missing, allow additional time for them to install automatically.

Steps for Device Setup
If you need to access NSU resources from a remote location, you will need to connect to the Ivanti VPN application. In the search, look for Ivanti Secure Access Client.

Configuring Ivanti Secure will take four steps:
- Launch Ivanti Secure
- Put your curser where the green dot will be visible
- Click the green dot
- Allow time for it to load
- Click OK to Switch UI Mode
- Click on Connect. The VPN connection will prompt you to verify code in your Microsoft Authenticator app once again
Once you are logged into your desktop, your OneDrive will be synchronizing to data.
To check the synchronization status on your OneDrive Data, click the small blue cloud on the corner of your computer. Circled in red, would display the sync status of your data.
Depending on the amount of data on your OneDrive, this will take some time.

There are free applications in the NSU App store.

Launch the NSU App Store on your desktop. Choose your desired application.

Click Install. Please allow time for the application to complete the installation.

Company Portal
There are free applications available in the Company Portal. Launch the Company Portal on your desktop.

Or navigate through the Windows Start menu. Click StartAllScroll down and select Company Portal.

Allow time to load. Click Apps.

Select the application you want to install, click Install. Allow time for installation.
