Who We Are

The Office of Legal Affairs plays a pivotal role in advancing Nova Southeastern University’s mission in teaching, research, and public service. Through strategic legal counsel, our team empowers university leadership and supports all academic and administrative units in making informed, sound decisions.

We review and negotiate a wide range of agreements—including contracts, agreements, leases, and memoranda of understanding—that enable the university’s operations and initiatives. Our work also facilitates research collaborations, protects intellectual property, and provides guidance on governance and partnerships. In doing so, we help foster innovation and promote student success across the university.

The Office of Legal Affairs at Nova Southeastern University is dedicated to providing trusted legal guidance that enables the university to thrive in its academic and business purposes. We serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders—including faculty, staff, and administrators—as well as external collaborators and vendors.

 

Who We Represent

The Office of Legal Affairs represents Nova Southeastern University and advises Trustees, Officers, Faculty, and Staff in their official university capacity.  The Office of Legal Affairs does not provide personal legal services to members of the Nova Southeastern University community.
