Degree Conferral FAQ

No, the degree conferral staff checks the account before placing a charge to ensure the student is not charged more than once. In the event that a student is charged twice, contact either the Bursar's office (bursar@nova.edu) or degree conferral (daqc@nova.edu) and request to have the charge reversed.

The student should contact their program office or the call center and inform them of the changes needed. The program office or call center should then email daqc@nova.edu with the request. The email alias daqc@nova.edu is for internal use only.

No, it is University procedure to have all degrees conferred at the end of the month in order to adhere to compliance regulations. However, there are some exceptions. Please see the full list of exceptions on the Registrar Policies and Procedures for Degree Conferral.
