An “Academical Village” is described by Thomas Jefferson as a “community of scholars and students living and working closely together, inspired by a campus that promotes the free flow of ideas.” The Academical Village will consist of 2,500,000 square feet of healthcare, premier residential, conference, hospitality, office, and retail space. It is designed as a vibrant, living community and exemplary model of smart growth. This design will provide a sustainable, synergistic environment for area residents, faculty, students and the community to live, learn, shop and play.

This project is estimated to be completed by in 2025.

The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation project is a build-out of approximately 53,000 square feet, within the existing Fifth Floor of the Alvin Sherman Library located on NSU's Main Campus in Davie, FL. This project is estimated to be completed by Summer 2021.

The NSU University School Drop-Off Lane project includes the expansion of Thomas Jefferson Place to include an additional lane that will support the drop-off and pick-up of students attending the NSU University School. The project includes removing and reinstalling the existing sidewalk along the south side of the road, and improvements to the swale for drainage purposes.

This project is estimated to be completed by Fall 2021.

The HPD Dental Drop-off Relocation project is a relocation of the existing vehicular drop-off area from the north side of the College of Dental Medicine building to the east side of the building. The design includes a new covered drop-off area, modified covered walkway, and adjustments to the roadway and canal.

This project is estimated to be completed by Fall 2021.

The Softball Field Relocation project  consists of construction of a new softball field to be located near the Aquatic Center, along SW 36th Street. This is to replace the existing softball facilities located between HPD and the Dolphins Complex. The new softball complex will include concessions, restrooms, and equipment storage space.

This project is estimated to be completed by Winter 2021.
