An “Academical Village” is described by Thomas Jefferson as a “community of scholars and students living and working closely together, inspired by a campus that promotes the free flow of ideas.” The Academical Village will consist of 2,500,000 square feet of healthcare, premier residential, conference, hospitality, office, and retail space. It is designed as a vibrant, living community and exemplary model of smart growth. This design will provide a sustainable, synergistic environment for area residents, faculty, students and the community to live, learn, shop and play.

This project is estimated to be completed in 2025.

The NSU Health Interprofessional Simulation Complex project includes the complete renovation of the former 82,000 sq. ft. Miami Dolphins Training Facility on NSU's Main Campus in Davie, FL.
