Dateline Health is NSU's public service television show hosted by Fred Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D, Chancellor of NSU Health Professions Division. Dateline Health is a 30-minute program dedicated to promoting the community's overall health and well-being covering a wide range of contemporary health care issues through interviews with health care experts, researchers, and policy makers.

Airing on Broward Education Communication Network (BECON-TV), via COMCAST and AT&T U-verse cable providers, Direct TV and Dish Network satellite and over air signals seven days a week throughout the tri-county area reaching 5 million households in the community.  With expanded online access through YouTube, Dateline Health has reached viewers beyond the community.

Dateline Health is a five-time recipient of the Telly Awards. The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. The Telly Awards honors the very best film & video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional, & cable TV commercials and programs. It is a tremendous achievement to be selected for recognition.

Dateline Health is produced by the Health Professions Division and is taped on the main campus at the NSU studio. For over eighteen consecutive years, NSU has been delivering award-winning episodes to educate and inform the community. Dateline Health celebrated its 500th episode in August 2019.
