Elyse is a Graduate Assistant for Special Events and Projects in the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement. She is the head of the CommunityFest Planning Committee, as well as the graduate supervisor of SA Operations and is very excited for the upcoming year at NSU. Through her job on campus, Elyse has discovered a passion for Student Affairs and working with different organizations, departments, and the NSU Student Body to promote more events, involvement, and engagement on campus.
Elyse is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Florida 4 years ago to start college. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelors in Theatre and a concentration in Musical Theatre. As an undergraduate student she was a proud Panhellenic sorority woman, a member of the President’s 64, and very involved within Campus Life and the Department of Performing and Visual Arts.
In her spare time, Elyse enjoys singing, reading, baking, and spending time with friends. She is currently pursuing her Masters in the College Student Affairs Program and hopes to one day make an impact on students lives just as her supervisors and past Graduate Assistants did for her in her undergraduate career.
