Homecoming is the time to celebrate tradition and instill pride in all members of the Nova Southeastern University family through active engagement of students, alumni, faculty and staff across the community.
The week of celebration will begin on Sunday, November 9, 2025 and will end on Saturday, November 15, 2025. You don’t want to miss out on all the awesome activities taking place this week including a couple of surprises!

Location: Alvin Sherman Library Quad
Description: What better way to celebrate and kick off homecoming than by having a fireworks and laser show! Light refreshments will be provided.
Date: Monday, November 10
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Rick Case Arena
Description: Join us as we kick off the week with our signature Bleed Shark Blue Pep Rally that will engage students in showing a substantial amount of school spirit.

Date: Tuesday, November 11
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: Gold Circle Lake
Description: Come join us as we watch our students get creative and compete against each other to determine the best and fastest raft using unconventional items. First place takes $1,500 for their respective club or organization, second place takes $750, and third place takes $500. This is NSU's longest standing tradition. Location: Rick Case Arena
Description: Join the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office for their annual Homecoming Stroll Off, where the various organizations compete for the trophy and title of Homecoming Stroll Off Champions. This event has a great echo within the Greek community and displays the talents of our organizations in a highly competitive atmosphere for a prize of $1,000.
All active NSU students are free.
Guests of students and alumni can get a ticket here ($5) starting Tuesday, October 21, at 9:00 a.m.

Time: Immediately after Fraternity and Sorority Life Homecoming Stroll Off
Location: Rick Case Arena
Description: Join us for Sharks After Dark, immediately following the Fraternity and Sorority Life Homecoming Stroll Off, and keep the homecoming spirit going with a night full of energy, music, and campus pride. Come hang out with friends, enjoy the vibe, and celebrate what it means to be a Shark. It’s the perfect way to cap off the excitement of the day!

Location: Alvin Sherman Library Quad
Description: Join us for a vibrant day of creativity, community, and fun at the Block Painting Arts Festival. Hosted on the Alvin Sherman Library Quad, this annual tradition brings students together to showcase their artistry through block painting while enjoying an afternoon filled with activities, food, music, and giveaways.

Description: Come show your NSU Shark spirit! Cheer on all the clubs and organizations that are participating in the Homecoming Parade. There will be prizes for the best float, car, or banner decorations. Come and find out who will win!

Description: Join us as the NSU Undergraduate Student Government Association hosts their annual Homecoming Tailgate! It will be filled with nothing but fun events, food, music, and school spirit.

Description: Come join the men's basketball team to help them to victory against The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In addition, come see who our next homecoming royalties will be.

Description: Join us for our final toast to a successful homecoming week at the Sharks in the Garden Homecoming Brunch.
