S.O.S. - Sharks on the Scene and eSharks

S.O.S.- Sharks on the Scene gives students access to exclusive discounted tickets to some of the largest events South Florida has to offer while eSharks, the virtual version of S.O.S..., gives students access to fun, unique, and FREE events!

Waves of Welcome (WOW)

Weeks of exciting programs and activities where you can discover how you can get involved and find out about programs, services and opportunities tailored to make your NSU experience even more enriching, vibrant and memorable.


Sharkapalooza, one of the great traditions at NSU is the highlight of the University's Week of Welcome (WOW), Count on Sharkapalooza to be a memorable welcome-home event, featuring a student organization fair, performances, great prizes, activity booths, and free food!


This is a time for alumni, students, and the SHARK Family to celebrate NSU and show their SHARK Pride! This weeklong celebration includes our Homecoming Pep Rally, the Annual "Anything That Floats: Raft Races", Homecoming Bash, and many more events. To celebrate the end of the week, we finish with the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen!


NSU CommunityFest is an annual festival that celebrates and connects NSU students, employees, and their families as well as community business and organization in a carnival like atmosphere.


The Student Life Achievement Awards, known as the "STUEYS" is an annual celebration of NSU's best in scholarship, leadership, involvement, service, commitment, integrity and inclusion. This is also a celebration of the hundreds of activities designed to enrich the overall student experience of the NSU community.

All Fins In

The Ultimate Service Project is a joint initiative between the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement and the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement to make an impact on the Broward Community. NSU Students, clubs, organizations, sororities and fraternities all join together on one day to tackle several social issues including hunger, homelessness, environment, youth literacy, education and more.

Senior Week

Senior Week takes place at the end of the Winter semester and is filled with a variety of events celebrating the NSU’s graduating class. Senior Week allows graduating Senior to be celebrated, recognized, and shared best wishes from fellow students, faculty and staff.
