Established in 2011, the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is a distinguished group of C-suite executives and community leaders aligned with Nova Southeastern University. United by a shared commitment to support the university’s vision, members work to advance NSU’s impact across business, education, healthcare, civic service, and overall quality of life in our region.
The NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is a premier community-based leadership group composed of current and retired C-suite executives and senior professionals who are deeply invested in advancing Nova Southeastern University's mission. Board members serve as ambassadors for NSU by championing the work of its students, faculty, and staff, and by sharing the university's academic initiatives, research, and innovation with the broader community. Through their leadership experience, relationships, and influence, Ambassadors help create meaningful connections and opportunities that elevate NSU's impact and strengthen the university's role as a driver of education, research, and community advancement.

Our mission is to inspire active support for the University’s development efforts, promote NSU’s programs, and serve as dedicated ambassadors to our communities and constituencies.
We welcome leaders who are passionate about strengthening South Florida through education, economic development, healthcare, and civic engagement. We seek individuals who recognize the privilege of being involved and the impact that thoughtful leadership can make.
Membership offers the opportunity to collaborate with a university powered by talent, innovation, commitment, and entrepreneurial spirit. Our members take on the responsibility—and embrace the privilege—of helping shape a growing university guided by a president with a bold and transformative vision.
Membership
Membership in the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is by invitation only. Prospective members must be sponsored by a current Ambassador. Candidates typically include C-Suite executives, partners in professional organizations, and successful entrepreneurs who are active leaders in the community.
Annual membership dues help support the Board’s programs, initiatives, and monthly activities.

Formed by Susie and Alan B. Levan in 2011, the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board brings together accomplished professionals who share a passion for learning, innovation, and research. This prestigious philanthropic group was established to expand the visibility and impact of Nova Southeastern University as a leader in higher education and research.
Members serve as advocates for NSU—strengthening connections with community leaders, supporting key initiatives, and helping advance the academic and professional success of students, faculty, and the broader community.

Time
Invest time by participating in work groups, events, and engagement opportunities
that strengthen NSU’s presence in the community and deepen our connection with students,
faculty, and institutional partners.
Talent
Share your expertise by serving as a College/Unit Liaison—partnering directly with
deans, supporting student and faculty initiatives, and helping advance key priorities
across NSU’s colleges and programs.
Treasure
Give to the Special Projects fund and it will be used to provide for NSU special projects
or needs identified and approved by the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board Executive Committee.
Projects or needs can include equipment for a college, scholarships for students,
and more.
