NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library is the main academic library at the university. It offers traditional public library services as well, and it is open 100 hours a week and accessible 24/7 online. Reference and instructional services are available by phone at (954) 262-4613 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The library supports your academic or personal needs by offering the following:
Services offered through the Office of Student Disability Services
Student must advise the office of any needs immediately upon acceptance to the university. The office provides information and individualized accommodations to student-veterans with a diagnosed disability. Some of the areas we assist with include classroom and testing accommodations, housing accommodations, access to disabled parking, and finding textbooks in alternate formats. We can assist the student with obtaining necessary documentation and will consult with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, as needed. We can also refer students to campus resources and community agencies upon request.
Services offered through the Office of Transfer Evaluation Services
The Transfer Credit System can be used to determine how courses will transfer to NSU from previously attended institutions.
