Hola, I value connection, communication and creating a positive, caring, and calm space. People describe me as someone who is willing to ask questions, listen and take initiative, while also being an includer and helping others feel more welcome. I’ve always enjoyed puzzles, being outdoors, and exploring, and growing up in Wisconsin and Florida provided many opportunities for that. After earning degrees in psychology and counselor education, I became a school counselor at a high school. That experience opened the door for me to teach high school and college courses. I then transitioned to be an academic advisor, and eventually to my current role at NSU.
