Premier Programs Applications

Welcome to the Premier Programs Application!

The supplemental Premier Programs application is intended for students interested in applying and interviewing for Dual Admission, Razor's Edge Scholars, and the Huizenga Business Innovation Academy. In order to be considered for a Premier Program, you must:

Apply for undergraduate admission to Nova Southeastern University. If you have not already done so, please apply for admission to NSU using the NSU Application or the Common Application.
Submit the supplemental Premier Programs application.
Attend and interview during a Shark Preview, contingent upon successful admission to NSU.

NOTE: Consideration for Premier Programs requires full participation in a Shark Preview. Contingent upon successful admission to NSU, you will receive an email invitation to tentatively schedule your Shark Preview online. This will not serve as your official Shark Preview date until you receive an official confirmation email.

Dual Admission Program

For students interested in a reserved seat in one of NSU's graduate or professional schools while earning their bachelor's degree. Some of NSU's accelerated Dual Admission Program options offer a faster path to a professional degree by allowing earlier transition to professional school (2+4 and 3+4 options).

Huizenga Business Innovation Academy

The Huizenga Business Innovation Academy is a '3+1' combined bachelor's and MBA program, which means students graduate with a bachelor's and master's degree in just four years. The Huizenga Business Innovation Academy invests in future entrepreneurs with new business ideas that will change the world. It's NSU's very own innovation hub, with courses built around business startup principles in the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

Farquhar Honors Program

The Farquhar Honors Program places an emphasis on research, small class sizes, and unique hands-on learning experiences so that our most motivated and high-achieving students receive tailored support to excel beyond the classroom.

NOTE: The Farquhar Honors Program requires a separate application. By checking this box, you will be emailed an invitation to apply to the Farquhar Honors Program once you have been admitted to NSU and your Premier Programs application has been processed.

Hochberg-Miniaci Razor's Edge Scholars First Choice
Requirements for these programs are a 3.0 Weighted GPA and a 1200 SAT or 25 ACT. Please note that we will accommodate an interview for your first-choice program, and your second choice program interview is subject to availability :

Razor's Edge Global

For students with a strong interest in global current events, international relations, leadership, change-making, and cross-cultural understanding.

1. Please list any global citizenship projects/events you have been part of. These can be through school, internships, competitions or personal initiative. Please include a brief description of the activity along with your role/what contributions you made to the project.

2. Please list any volunteer experiences you completed during high school. Include the name of the organization and the approximate number of hours of service. If you held any formal position within a volunteer organization please include that information as well (e.g., President of XX organization).

3. Please provide a list of any school-based activities you were a part of during high school. These can include any clubs, sports, or artistic pursuits and the dates of those activities. If you held a leadership position (e.g., captain) please include that information as well.
