Public Safety Special Event Request
This form is used by the facilitator to request the special assignment of Public Safety
officers for a specific event. The requestor will indicate in the "Special Notes"
section the details of the additional Public Safety resources requested. Public Safety
will recommend the hiring of police detail units; EMS units; fire panel monitoring;
NSU Public Safety officers; contract security officers or other resources as needed
to provide a safe environment during the event.
NOTE: The allocation of personnel for special assignments is a budgetary request and as
such requires the departmental account number of the requesting department. * All fields marked with an asterisk are required. If a field does not apply, please
mark it "n/a" (not applicable).
