Facilities for Corporate Collaborators

NSU is equipped with state-of the-art Core Facilities, a spacious vivarium and a Technology Incubator. On this page, prospective collaborators can find more information on all these facilities.

Technology Incubator

To foster further collaboration with NSU and to facilitate the growth of local startups, NSU has developed a Technology Incubator. Companies interested in being located at the Technology Incubator can lease incubator space.

Being part of this incubator will give a company easy access to customized lab space and equipment in the Core Facilities. Besides usage of space and equipment, private organizations located in the Technology Incubator will further benefit from regular interaction with researchers, key decision makers and a talent pool of skilled students.

Core Facilities

NSU's state-of-the-art Center for Collaborative Research houses multiple core facilities to support research. The services of these excellent core facilities are available for organizations who license NSU's inventions or enter into other collaborative projects with the University. As of now the following five core facility services are being offered by NSU:

  • Flow Cytometry
  • Genomics
  • Imaging
  • Vivarium
  • Cell Therapy facility

Center for Drug Discovery and Development (CD3)

NSU's Center for Drug Discovery and Development (CD3) strives to offer scientific and technical services to life science companies in south Florida. It is located in NSU's state-of-the-art Center for Collaborative Research (CCR). The key objectives of our CD3 are to provide services such as assay designing, product development consultation, preformulation and formulation services and create other relevant support necessary to translate an innovative pharmaceutical idea to a marketable product.

Through collaborative efforts with local biopharmaceutical, nutraceutical and diagnostic organizations, CD3 aspires to facilitate growth of the local life science industry ecosystem and serve as a platform that offers training opportunities to NSU students.
