Holiday 2018 Concert Series

December Concerts

Four fantastic opportunities to hear Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria" to kick off your holiday season. Vivaldi's "Gloria" is known for distinctive melodies and rhythms and almost dance-like themes -- often characteristic of many of his compositions. This has historically given his music a wide-reaching audience. His opening movement is a joyous chorus and Nova Singers will make use of a chamber orchestral ensemble to round out the performance. If you love choral music you can't help but love Vivaldi's "Gloria" -- one of the finest pieces of choral music ever written. The choir will also present many familiar holiday pieces in the second-half of the concert. We are pleased to include The Dillard Chorale from Dillard Performing Arts High School.
