NSU Study Abroad Opportunities

NSU partners with third-party providers who facilitate study abroad programs. They are often the liaison between the student, NSU, and their university/ study center abroad. While programs offer a wide array of options, these programs will provide guidance to the student on academic and social support throughout the duration of their program. For assistance in finding a program, please make an appointment with a Sharks Abroad Peer Advisor at calendly.com/sharksabroad

Regardless of the program type, students are required to complete an NSU Study Abroad Application before they apply to their 3rd party program. To receive help on this step, please reach out to a peer advisor to learn how you can apply.

NSU Sharks Abroad has official affiliation agreements with the following third-party providers:

Nova Southeastern University does not have affiliation agreements with any other third-party providers. If you choose to study abroad with a provider or university that is not affiliated with Nova Southeastern University, the Office of International Affairs cannot guarantee that credits earned will be applied or if financial aid is eligible. Students with questions may reach out to sharksabroad@nova.edu

School of Record

A school of record provides oversight of the academic process, including reviewing syllabi, approving course offerings, evaluating instructor qualifications, and ensuring academic quality. Essentially, it is the school that will help you get academic credit for your degree at NSU. The School of Record is where your transcripts will be coming from. It may be different from the school you enroll in through a 3rd party program

Each of our program providers have different schools of record. You will need to know your corresponding school of record if you desire to receive academic credit for your study abroad program. Please see the attached PDF for more information on your program’s school of record. This is an updated list that is subject to change and will be updated as necessary.
