All Sharks Abroad program advising begins with our Sharks Abroad Peer Advisors.  They will help you learn more about the application process, financial aid options, credit transfer, and even help you prepare for your adventures at our pre-departure orientation. You are able to schedule an appointment with any of our Sharks Abroad Peer Advisors by visiting

Cassidy Campanella is the Sharks Abroad Peer Advisor Supervisor and a senior Public Health major. She is in Razor’s Edge Shark Talent, with minors in Theater Arts and Pre-Health. Cass traveled to Bologna, Italy to participate in a medical fellowship during the summer through Atlantis. She gained over 70 clinical hours in a local hospital and got offered to be a published coauthor of an international research paper from an Italian surgeon. As this is her third year in our office, she is extremely passionate about helping everyone gain an amazing study abroad experience, even if it is nontraditional.

Emma is a senior double majoring in Political Science and International Studies. She has minors in Honors and Spanish. Before COVID-19, Emma participated in a faculty-led travel study through the NSU course, Genocide in the 20th Century. In this experience, she traveled with her classmates to Poland, Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia. She loves traveling and trying new things, and she cannot wait to help you do the same.

Evan is a senior majoring in International Studies with a minor in Business. Over the summer, he participated in a virtual study abroad program. He took remote coursework through Nebrija University in Spain. While originally planning to do a traditional study abroad, Evan didn't let COVID-19 prevent him from getting a global experience!

Polina is a senior Psychology major, and a Pre-Med and Folklore and Mythology minor. She was born in Belarus and moved to America at the age of nine and has had the experience of becoming accustomed to a new culture and dealing with culture shock. She has been a part of a Student Leadership and Civic Engagement service trip. The trip was set in Orlando, Florida and the group of volunteers helped LGBTQ+ kids with disabilities have a healing experience. She is super excited to help everyone get the chance to study abroad and grow!
